Oma stayed with her breeder Anita and is living with her mom Tama and brindle akita Haiku. Oma has grown out to be a really beatiful lady and she's just as lovely in nature as her mom and dad. She has also done excellent at dog shows and was #1 Top Winning Akita bitch in Finland in 2005 and 2006.

Oma started her career at unofficial match show being Best in Show. In three puppy classes she won BOB-puppy every time. From adults classes she got her CC's easily and finished the Champion title at the first possible show. Oma finished her Int Ch title also quickly and has won some winner titles also. At Finnish National Speciality 2006 Oma went best of breed! Oma is handled at dog shows by Tiina.
