Dairin at Shows 2006
Dairin was invited to the Champion of Champions Gala third time in a row! This year he was in Veteran of Veterans competition.
First show for the year was Latvian Winner in Riga. Dairin went BOB and BOB-veteran and got the title LvW-06, and success was to be continued as in big rings he was BIG-5 and BIS-2-veteran! Shows in Finland went excellent too, in Turenki Dairin won his first BIS-1-veteran for the year. Next time was in Hamina all breed show, where Dairin also won group! Not too bad for almost 10 years old gentleman! In Estonia Dairin went BIS-2-veteran and got also Baltic Winner title.
7th Japanese Kennel Club Speciality Show in Europe was held in Finland. Akita entry was 51 and Dairin won 2nd best male and BOB-veteran under Mr Yusuke Kawakita. At the finals Dairin went on to win Best in Show Veteran to judge Akio Kuroki! At the European Winner show Dairin was also BOB-veteran and got the title European Veteran Winner 2006.
In summer Dairin was shown only few times, he was BOB and BOB-veteran every time. In autumn Dairin turned 10 years old and judges though he gets better and better as years go. In Porvoo Dairin broke the bank going BIG-2 and Best in Show 1 veteran! Few weeks later we had Finnish National Speciality, which was held together with Finnish Companion Dog Club show SSKY. Dairin was BOB-veteran and had BOB & BIS-1 progeny class. In SSKY's finals he did excellent too: BIS-2-veteran and BIS-2-progeny class. Last show of the year was Finnish Winner Show, where Dairin got FinW-06 title with BOS, while his daughter Suki was BOB.

01.10.2006 Finnish Akita & Shiba Speciality
Finnish Annual National Speciliaty was held in Hyvinkää together with Finnish Companion Dog Club show SSKY. In Akitas Dairin and five of his kids were shown with excellent outcome! All of them got excellent and placed in best male/bitch class. Seiko won Champion class and was best male, Haku won open class and 3rd best male and Dairin won veteran class and 4th best male. Haku got also res-CC. In females Oma was best female from Champion class, Emma won intermediate class and was 2nd best female with CC and Suki was 3rd best female with res-CC. Dairin was BOB-veteran, Seiko BOS and Oma BOB. Dairin had also BOB & BIS progeny class with Oma, Emma, Suki and Haku. Oma was Queen and Best in Show 2 in finals. We also attended to SSKY's finals with great success. Dairin won Best in Show 2 Veteran and his progeny class was also BIS-2.

10.09.2006 Porvoo all breed show
We sure had a dream come true -day in Porvoo all breed show. First Dairin went BOB under Leila Kärkkäinen, then he was second in group to judge Tapio Eerola ja finally, under Mr Petr Rehanek he won Best in Show 1 veteran!
