Ossi at shows 2007
Ossi has been shown very little in Finland in last years, but this year he turned 8 years old and was ready to the veteran rings! At the end of the year Ossi was crowned #2 Top Winning Veteran dog and #9 Top Winning Show Dog out of all breeds in Finland in 2007!!!
The year started excellent. Ossi was in 7 shows in Champion Class and got CACIB from every one! He also got few new titles and group placements from biggest Finnish shows.
In June Ossi moved to veteran class and he sure has done excellent! He has got outstanding results from both group and bis veteran competitions. At Jämsänkoski Ossi did - we believe - some sort of record, as he won the group for the 20th time!! But that's not all, the following weeks gave him 8 more group wins: Kotka Int, Juva Int, Kokkola Int, Hyvinkää, Pori Int, Turku, Kouvola and Heinola! In Kokkola Ossi broke the bank and won BEST IN SHOW for the second time in his career! =) In Turku Ossi was BIS-4.
In veteran rings Ossi has also been succesful. First he won BIS-3 veteran in Estonian Winner Show and BIS-2 veteran the next day at Estonian Dachshund National Speciality. That's not all, as Ossi was also BOB there! This summer Ossi has been BIS-1-veteran in Kokkola and Tervakoski and BIS-2-vet in Kotka Int, Juva Int and Pori Int and BIS-3-vet in Karjaa Int, Oulu Int and Turku.
The biggest win, however, Ossi got in Dortmund Germany! We were in Bundessieger and Nationale Shows in Dortmund and Ossi sure did something unbelievable. He not only won best in show veteran at both shows, but on the second day he also won BOB and BIG-1!! Few weeks later in Baltic Winner show Ossi also won BIS-1-veteran and group-1 and finally BIS-2. Last BIS-veteran placement for the year Ossi got from Nordic Winner show in Stockholm.
So, total group wins for this year is stunning 12 and total BIS-veteran-placements 15!
